Our Story
The SelfMade Project started with a simple belief: that business and community fit together like a glove, and success can and should be shared and celebrated. Currently, we make workwear worth wearing — and the goal is to fund the success of others, once SelfMade reaches stable profitability.
Where It Began
The idea came from connecting with everyday people across the world on media platforms like Tiktok and realising there are people out there working and struggling. Trying to put food on the table, through harsh weather, injury, tragedy. The world needs community, togetherness. This is what the world lacks. Humans need connection; together we can build it.
This idea came in September 2025. Since then, all my spare time has been spent towards this idea. Damn, I wish I recorded this... Maybe I will... Initially, the barrier was finding something I'm passionate about. The idea of fashionable workwear fits. Not only do I want to build more, but in workwear I've also solved my own problem.
I've realised in my life I want to be honest, transparent, and grow. Stepping outside of my comfort zone makes me vulnerable, but for me, the growth is more important. I want to show the realities of building something and engage with people while doing it. This is not just a clothing brand; it's a foundation for something more powerful. The opportunities we can create are limitless. Success here is not mine alone; it's ours. Various revenue streams that funnel back to all of you who chose to embark on a journey of your own.

The Community Fund
Every purchase powers the fund. Every member shapes where it goes. Here's how the cycle works.
01
Every item you purchase from The SelfMade Project contributes a percentage directly into the Community Fund. No extra steps, no opt-ins.
02
Community members submit their business ideas each month — from sole traders to social enterprises. Anyone can apply.
03
SelfMade Members review the shortlisted ideas and cast their votes. The community decides who gets funded — not a panel of investors.
04
The winning idea receives a grant from the Community Fund, along with mentorship and visibility from the SelfMade network.
What We Stand For
Every decision we make starts with one question: does this serve our community? From the clothes we design to the businesses we fund, people come before profit.
We believe in hard work, ambition, and the power of showing up. The SelfMade name isn't just branding — it's a philosophy we live by.
You'll always know exactly where your money goes. Every pound contributed to the Community Fund is tracked, reported, and voted on by our members.
Looking good and doing good aren't mutually exclusive. We design workwear that holds its own on any job site and in any boardroom.
Shop the collection and start contributing to the fund — or join as a member and have a say in who we back next.
